Dear Resident,

2023 is a significant year for your Auditor's Office; both internally for our staff and externally for YOU, the public we serve.  To meet our obligations of conscientious service, there are significant changes scheduled over the course of this year and into 2024.  I am writing you to identify one such change.

In an effort to streamline office efficiency, improve network maintenance and security, and save taxpayer money; my Office is retiring our current legacy Real Estate, Appraisal, and Tax System and moving to a new system that is highly functional, substantially improved, and most importantly cost effective.  Late last year we contracted with ISSG – an Ohio based Real Estate, Appraisal, and Tax firm for this purpose.  Since that time, we have been working closely with ISSG staff to incorporate our REALink Data into a new public facing website that will eventually replace both the data and mapping functions of REALink.  You are currently viewing the first of several updates taking place as we migrate to the new ISSG environment.

I welcome you to review this website and would appreciate your feedback, both positive or critical.  Should you have any questions or concerns about the data or maps, please contact: gis@co.geauga.oh.us. For any other aspect of our website or our office's functions, please do not hesitate to contact me by email at auditor@co.geauga.oh.us, by phone at (440) 285-2222 x1600, or personally at the Courthouse Annex building, 231 Main St, Chardon, Ohio.

We are here to serve you.

Sincerely,

Charles E. Walder
Geauga County Auditor
